Directions:

Hooker Rd - Atterberry - two miles to Tripp Rd
OR
Kirk - south (across 101 from KitchenDick) right on Parrish,
Parrish turns to Tripp as it curves to the left and we are on the right - flag on the driveway

Starts around 6:00pm.  Bring a pot luck dish; main, salad or dessert to share along with a beverage (Wine/beer or other).  Please bring your own plates and silverware to help assist the host in clean up.

Modern Barn Raising - with plastic over the high tunnel hoop house

Volunteers requested.
My hoop house will be ready to be covered  by Friday.  It's very technical work - tennis balls are attached to long ropes (which are attached to the cover) and tossed over the top frame. People on one side guide the plastic and people on the other side pull on the ropes.

Each volunteer will receive a box of produce when the crop comes in. In addition - a nice bunch of heirloom tomatoes in late spring/early summer.

My hoop house will be ready to be covered  by Friday.  If I can get some volunteers from our group to help pull the plastic over the hoops then we can call it a barn-raising potluck.

It's very technical work - tennis balls are attached to long ropes (which are attached to the cover) and tossed over the top frame. People on one side guide the plastic and people on the other side pull on the ropes. I'll give a box of produce to each volunteer when the crop comes in.  Come a little early and "raise the barn".

Would you please put this information into the notice?  Thanks.

Susan

September - Potluck Night

                                       To Host September!

We would be meeting on Friday, September 21st but would like to include Lance and Annetta Callin-Young (our founders).

They are only available on Sundays, so we are looking for a host for Sunday the 16th or Sunday the 23rd.

Please e-mail me at della@kineoptics.com if you are available and would like to host on either of these dates.

P.S.  We also need a host for November!

Thank you.  Lets not skip a month..... we have been doing a great job keeping out Social Potluck going.

Hope to hear from you.
