Deb and Paul Hansen have graciously agreed to be our permanent Potluck Home for 2019.  We will continue to meet on the Third Friday of every month.  So mark your calendars now.  I will not be sending out notices, unless for some reason they have a conflict or change in the date for a certain month, due to whatever reason.

We are very happy, and grateful to the Hansen's to open their home once a month for our group.

To my fellow Potluck Friends,

I believe we have come to the end of a great thing.  This past year we have struggled to hang on to our once a month Potluck night, but to no avail, I find myself struggling every month to find us a home/host, only to have maybe 5 folks attend.  I think we can say, folks are moving on.  So it is with regret, that I am standing down as organizer.  If someone feels we can keep going, by all means I will pass the baton on.  However, given the busy lives of most folks, I don't think we can sustain our group.

We have loved being part of this community group, getting to know new folks who move here, and making them feel welcome and a part of the community.  I have personally made some great friends from belonging to the original Pizza Night group, and love those memories from those long, lost days at Lance and Annetta's.

I took organizing this group on, as my "give back", as I felt we received so many valuable friendships over the years from attending the Pizza Nights, and the Potluck Nights.  But as the saying goes "all good things must come to an end".

So, unless someone wants to host the final December Potluck which would be our year end, grand finale', it is with this message that we are done.

Thank you all for a great 10 year ride!!! It has been wonderful.

May you all enjoy a Happy Holiday Season, and may our paths cross around the streets of Sequim.

Directly across from the Discovery Trail at Heath and Sawmill. If you drive past the yellow triangle sign with a man walking (in either direction at the corner) indicating the trail, you have gone past my driveway. There is a metal horse pulling a tractor seat beside the driveway. Heath is behind Sunny Farms in one direction and Skyridge Golf Course in the other direction. Behind Sunny Farms, turn onto Carlsborg Rd. off Hwy. 101 then right onto E. Runnion and in a few blocks L onto Heath. You can see the row of Leland Cypress trees beside my house from there. Look down the road on the right.

In the other direction Heath Rd. runs into Skyridge Golf Course off Old Olympic. I've planted 250 trees and bushes since I moved in 16 years ago so look for all the trees and a Leland Cypress hedge and the yellow triangle sign at Heath and Sawmill.

Judy has asked that we be very careful with beverages and spillage, as she has encountered house guests in the past that have had spills.
